STATIC by Gauchito Media LLC

Privacy Policy.

Artist-first, in plain English. STATIC works because of the data you trust us with — here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum we need to run the platform for you. That falls into three buckets:

Account information

  • Your name, email address, and password (passwords are hashed by our auth provider; we never see them).
  • Optional profile details you add — artist name, bio, links, profile image.

Release & campaign data

  • Releases you create: titles, dates, artwork, briefs, target territories, references, and notes.
  • Smart Links you build, including destination URLs and platform mappings.
  • Internal status, comments, and tasks you log inside your dashboard.

Smart Link click analytics

  • Click events on your Smart Links, including timestamp.
  • Approximate location: city and country, derived from IP. We don't store full IP addresses long-term and we don't pinpoint individuals.
  • Device type (mobile / desktop / tablet), operating system family, and browser family.
  • Referrer (where the click came from, if shared).

We do not collect names, emails, or phone numbers from fans clicking your Smart Links.

2. How We Use It

  • To power the platform — render your dashboard, your Smart Links, your archive, your maps, your timeline.
  • To generate the Pulse analytics and territory maps you see in your account.
  • To improve recommendations (rollout suggestions, territory targeting, reference matches) using aggregated, anonymized signals across the platform.
  • To send essential service emails (security notifications, important product changes).
  • To investigate abuse, fraud, fake-stream/fake-click farming, and violations of our Terms of Service.

We never sell your data to third parties. Full stop.

We don't share your release plans, fan analytics, or roster information with labels, advertisers, or other artists. We don't run third-party ad networks inside the product.

3. Data Storage

STATIC runs on cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, and storage), hosted on managed cloud servers. The application itself is delivered via Vercel.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to a small number of engineers, logged, and reviewed. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your content from active systems and let it roll off encrypted backups on a delayed schedule.

4. Cookies and Analytics

STATIC uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, all in service of running the product:

  • Session cookies from our auth provider (Supabase) so you stay signed in.
  • Local storage for UI preferences (theme, draft autosaves).
  • Privacy-respecting product analytics for aggregate usage (page loads, feature usage). No cross-site tracking, no advertising IDs.

Smart Link click analytics are stored against your release, not against the visiting fan as an individual profile.

5. Third Party Services

We use a focused set of vendors. Each is bound by their own privacy policies and our processing agreements:

  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe — payment processing (only if and when paid plans become active; not used today).
  • Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails (e.g. password resets).

If we add new processors that touch personal data, we'll update this list before they go live.

6. Your Rights

You're in control of your data. You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate.
  • Delete your account and associated content.
  • Export your data in a portable format (release info, analytics, archive).
  • Object to specific uses, or withdraw consent where it applies.

Most of this is available directly from your account. For anything you can't do yourself, email privacy@staticreleases.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
